Bookings for Maundy Thursday Suppers 2025

We're glad you want to join us for a Maundy Thursday Fellowship Meal.Last year we met all together in the Church Rooms. We hope to repeat this event next year, but this year we are going to do it slightly differently. 

We still want to take the opportunity of Maundy Thursday to begin our Easter celebrations in fellowship with one another, but this year we will meet in homes across the parish. We will all share the same Maundy Thursday Fellowship Meal as last year, and if you were there, you will know that this is a very meaningful and enjoyable occasion, a sort of cross between a service and a dinner party! It is very much a shared experience, with everyone contributing the food and drink items that are needed.

We have lots of people willing to host a meal, but now we need some guests!  So please don't be shy and make sure to sign up to join in. We will then sort out guest lists for each host who will be in touch with you about what to bring.

A Fellowship Meal is suitable not just for adults but for children too - certainly secondary aged children and probably junior too - and there is a role for them to play as the youngest present traditionally ask some of the questions in the service, so do book them in too.

We look forward to gathering as church family to remember the events of Maundy Thursday together.
